Sue Schlesman is an award-winning author, freelance writer, and church leader. In ministry and education for over 30 years, Sue encourages individuals to find hope and healing through local and foreign churches, schools, retreats, and conferences through her leadership, creativity, and discipleship. Sue has a B.A. in Creative Writing and a Master’s in Theology and Culture.

Sue’s nonfiction book Soulspeak: Praying Change into Unexpected Places and her recently-published children’s Bible The Compassion Storybook Bible are both award-winning books. Sue and her husband Shane minister to weary church leaders through retreats, conferences, The Stress Test Podcast, and their ministry stress book, Death by Pastoring. Sue and Shane have been married for over 35 years and enjoy their three sons, two daughters-in-law, and one precious granddaughter. Sue loves travel, literature, missions, art, and dessert. Her website is filled with encouraging and challenging prayers and articles that attract visitors from around the globe.
