This children’s Bible tells simple stories of ordinary, flawed people like us—people who experienced extraordinary compassion and forgiveness from God. Every story conveys God’s love for people and shows us all how we can love one another. We believe that when your children understand God’s compassion, they will grow in compassion toward one another.
Every chapter of The Compassion Storybook Bible tells a Bible story and references its location in the Holy Bible. Each story is followed by a focus verse and three discussion questions (one comprehension, one inference, and one application). A sample prayer is included, which incorporates the theme and application of the story. The table of contents tells you which Bible character is highlighted in each story. We pray that the combination of these features will give you a framework for heart-changing conversations with the children in your life.
