My 40-day sugar fast was so revelatory to my body and spirit, I'm going to do it again. (Plus, I cheated a couple times.) Fasting opens your body and mind to many areas that need attention. I'm noticing trauma and strongholds in a lot of areas of my life now that I've removed a favorite coping mechanism. Fasting spotlights attention to areas that need transformation; healing requires the sacrifice of something you currently indulge in.
